how pathetic we have become,
in the wake of extinction,
we see how weak we truly are.

This system - we can't sustain,
consume, pollute and waste,
we're killing ourselves.

How dare you defend this cancer,
see how it cares for you,
when unable to produce.

Fear, panic and denial,
are the only things you'll feel,
no sense of responsibility,
for the earth that needed to heal.

Comfort will kill us all,
sedation of the masses,
when you're hopelessly content,
the truth becomes a threat.

You kill your dreams for comfort and conformity,
you'll never know what it means to be free. x2

dictated by the trend,
does life mean anything to you,
